This is what I did all day, everypup.

When are Mom and Dad coming home?

Friday is taking forever....

Are they home yet? No?

How about now?

I love looking out the window, watching and waiting for visitors. I sit on my chair and stare at people and pups walking down the street. I wish they'd all come by to visit, but for some reason, my Mom says that's a bad idea. So all I do is wait...

Of course, on Fridays, I wait in my crate with my toys. I can only eat so much stuffing, you know. And I decapitiated my duck and my greyhound, but I won't decapitate my sheep, because he's my baby.

Finally, Mom came home, so I clawed her Meeshka style to let her know it's NOT COOL to leave me alone!

I'll bet they'll never do it again!

4. Who is your favorite person other than the people you live with? My Aunt Erica

5. How much do you weigh? 35 lbs

6. Most expensive thing you’ve ever chewed up? Mom!

7. Do you like other Dogs? I LOVE other pups!

8. Who is your best non-human friend? My crush, Lexi, across the street. She's a golden retriever/rottie mix!

9. Squeaky Toys or Tennis Balls? Squeakies, I love squeakies!

10. Do you like to be brushed? Being brushed is stupid, I'd rather play.

11. Peanut Butter or Cheese? Cheeeeese.

12. Do your people cut your toenails? Yes...but then I try to eat Mom, so now she takes me to the groomer to get my pedicures.

13. Any formal education? Basic puppy. I can do down, sit, shake, lay (when I wanna), and I know how to "go to bed"!

14. Couch potato or Energizer Bunny? Um....definitely Energizer Bunny...I keep going, and going...

15. Five nicknames your people call you. Marls, Mars Bar, Woo, MarleyBoy, Marbles

16. What is your best trick? Paw shakes!

17. Do you like kitties? I like to play with the kitties, but my sister Bones things I'm evil, and Loki likes to play...but Mom doesn't allow it.

18. What did you have for breakfast? 2 cups of chow!

19. Can you hunt (aka have you ever killed anything living)? Bugs are much more my speed...not so much the fuzzy critters. I just like to chase for a little bit.

20. When & why was the last time you went to the V.E.T.? May 24, for my Lyme vaccination.

21. Where do you sleep at night? On the bed...but Mom and Dad are trying to get me to sleep in my crate again, because I also like to wake up and eat the room while they're asleep.

22. Do you like to swim? I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE my pool!

23. Can you make puppies? No, I cannot.

24. Do you give kisses? YOU BET!!

25. Can you potty on command? I have a very strict routine, so my people don't really need to tell me to potty. I go out, do my business, and then play. But if I'm super duper excited, Mom and Dad will tell me to go potty, and I will.

26. To Cuz or not to Cuz? I like my Bad Cuz in the pool, but outside, I much prefer my stuffies.

Stuffies!

I stole a greyhound stuffie from Aunt Erica a while back and decided that it was my baby. I bring it with me wherever I go, and I won't go to sleep without it next to me! Mom thought this was super cute, but then I got bored...so I decapitated my greyhound. Now I love it even more! I carry my decapitated stuffie with me and I love to show it to anybody who will look. Here I am telling Dad that he cannot take my stuffie, because it's MINE. I know that he is soooo jealous.

You can just tell! Finally, I laid down on the floor and let him hold the back end of it, while I tried to amputate it's arm. I feel bad for the guy...he needs to get his own toys!

Annoying!

My Mom is annoying me because she hasn't uploaded my super cute pictures yet! Something about "work", being "tired", and "how can I upload pictures when you want to eat the cord that puts them on the computer, but you also cry miserably when I don't allow you in the office, Marley?"....I dunno. Mom has tons of excuses. I will post pictures of itty bitty me, looking really cute and fluffy. I am a big 35 pounds now, and I am starting to get my full big-boy husky face, and my fur is a really pretty red brown, but Lazy Mom apparently doesn't want you to know. How rude!

How WOO doin?

Mom laughs at the second picture, because my vet always tells me that I look "stoned" when I go into the office. I don't know WHY she laughs...being told that you look like someone threw rocks at you isn't exactly a compliment...and I thought I was taking very good care of myself. Hmph!

A new treat!

Hello, everypup!

Mom and Dad are getting married on August 3rd, and Mom's dress arrived at the store today! I am telling her to bring it home, because I will shred it very nicely for her, but she keeps saying no! How stupid is that! It would be my present to her for finally biting the bullet with Dad, but apparently she just doesn't like presents. Bones, my feline sister who doesn't let me do ANYTHING around her since she's the alpha (and a cranky one at that), told me that if Mom does bring the dress home soon, she'll protect it by sleeping on it, because she likes pretty things. I told Mom that, and THAT didn't make her very happy either! Something to do with the way Bones looks...I don't get it.

Flowers are delicious

Hawoo, everypup!

I hope you had wonderful weekends, like I did. Nothing beats playing in the pool, zoomies in the yard, sleeping on the human bed and eating Mom's brand new expensive flowers after hours of manual labor on her part. It really was the perfect weekend! Too bad it's over today :(

I've been really big on mouthing Mom and Dad's hands and arms lately, which for some reason really makes them upset. What's the big deal! I'm just saying "I love you", but they aren't paying attention, I guess. Mom's been making stupid puppy noises, but that makes me just want to mouth her some more. And I'm sick of her sticking Mr. Duck and Mr. Sheep in my mouth - I'll chew them when I wanna! Any of your humans trying to do things like that to you?

Somehow we missed out on the cicadas at our house, which is a total bummer. Mom is big on "all natural" snacks, and I was thinking that the cicadas would be as natural as we could get!

Hawoo, everypup. Just wanted to wish everyone a happy weekend! My mean, mean parents are going to Minnesota without me for a wedding (why wasn't I invited?!)...and I get to stay with Grandma and Aunt Catie. I promised Mom and Dad that I will take good care of them and destroy at least 10 socks while I'm there. I don't know how the humans will survive without my constant love, affection, nibbles and woos...it will be rough, for sure.
