Crate Crazy

Well...it finally happened. Woos truly and his partner in crime, Mr. Ziggy, have gone back to day crating. Something about Ziggy peeing on the floor and eating part of the couch. Whoops.

I'm OK with it. I'll even go in my crate on my own! Ziggy is starting to follow suit. I told him that it's OK, and it's probably best for our safety, as well as the mental health of Mom...which directly impacts how many treats we get!!

We still sleep with Mom and Dad, though. Ziggy and I both start out under the bed, because Z-man does not like to fall asleep alone, but he also doesn't like sleeping ON the bed. I like to make him feel safe. Once he falls asleep, I jump back up on the human bed and curl up in a dognut. OK, fine...sometimes I do the stretchies and kick Mom, but that's just a love tap! Z-man is usually the first to wake up, and has no quams with poking Mom in the eye with his snooter to let her know that he'd like to go outside, please!

Mom's a little scatterbrained, lately...or so she says. I have not seen her brains scattered anywhere, and her head looks like normal, so I'm not sure what she's talking about...but she definitely is a little crazy and a little spacey.

Here are Ziggy and I, not snuggling or anything, because we're tough guys!! (Human note: as the Rasta Boyz know better than to pose for any picture, I attempted to take this with my camera phone - hence the poor quality!)

Woo,

Marley

I am in a crate too during the day. I ate my human's grandmother dining room set (chewed most of the legs) that was a part of the family for 50 years!! Ya, I thought the "sticks" tasted good but my humans weren't impressed.

Sounds like you pulled a fast one Ziggy! Hope the crate gives you time to chill and get some cool, safe toys. :)

Crates aren't so bad. We still have ours and we love them. Sometimes I'm a brat and go into Meeka's - with him. He doesn't like that at all!!

Big meanie poo face Salvador has to go outside during the day now... ever since he left dad a "present" in the wardrobe. I like it, it's peaceful for me.

Well, I never khared for mine - needed to be dragged and/or trikhked into it -

I finally khonvinced Mom I really really didn't need it -

As for the sleeping on the bed thing - YEP - I race Mom upstairs - I fluff it up fur us - I khurl, I sprawl - and yet, once she gets in - BAM, down to the floor I go an khurl up in front of the khloset -

As fur your mom WELL, word on the street, SMS, and HERE is that she's having a biped pup SOOOOO all her energies are going to keeping the pup in the yard fur now!

Way to go Ziggy!!! Ummm, I mean, bad Sibe! Shame on you for chewing up the couch! (giggle)

You are getting sooo big now! My stupid brother Samuel had to stay in a crate for almost a year. Mom tried him out at 7 months, but somehow a pillow exploded and he was blamed. So, back in the crate he went!

Good luck, I hope you get out of jail soon!

We are in the daily crate club too. On the weekends, we really miss our kongs because we don't get kongs unless we go in our crate. Do you get kongs in your crate?
