RIP, Little Bunny Foo Foo

I have saved Ziggy from death and dismemberment by slaughtering another Evil Vampire Little Bunny Foo Foo. He was going right for him, I swear!

Why does it make Mom so upset that I saved Ziggy's life from this rabid rabbit? It further proves that she loves me best, I guess. I won't tell Ziggy, though. I don't want to hurt his feelings...the little guy is growing on me.

Here, there, everywhere!

Woo!
GUESS WHAT everypup! Mom and Dad got a new huskymobile! Check it out:

It's perfect for us! The back has perfect room for one of us...and the seats fold down with awesome room for both the Zig man and I, once he's older. And GET THIS - they got the package with the car-seat hookups on the ceiling - so we can wear our safety belts even with the seats down! Woo!

Of course, since Mom got the car on Saturday, Ziggy had an appointment with the vet last night. Mom put a blanket down in back. And what did he do?

I'm sure you can figure this one out.

Yes, everypup, Ziggy pooped the biggest stinky puppy poop in the back of Mom's 2 day old car. It was so smelly that Mom's eyes were watering even with the windows down. That's our Ziggy!

Dad now calls him Zigmund Freud, but I don't really know why. I thought Freud was supposed to be smart.

ALSO - I'd like to give a shout out to all of the A04 troopers! Mom and I signed up for a program at http://www.mysoldier.com/ - it sets you up with a soldier fighting overseas. You become pen pals, send care packages, all that good stuff. As the holidays are quickly approaching, I think that we pups who are busy defending dogland should come together and show the support to our soldier bipeds! Anyone else in?

Speaking of the holidays...Mom and Dad put up the Christmas decorations this past weekend. I have eaten approximately 4 ornaments thus far, and have only managed to semi-topple the tree twice. I will work harder, pups, I promise! Pics to come soon!

Cute little me, on the way home at 8 weeks old!

Happy Turkey Day!

EVERYBODY - GUESS WHAT!!!!!!

IT SNOWED LAST NIGHT!!!

Mom, Ziggy and I went outside early this morning while it was still coming down. Ziggy had to potty, so Mom put him in the run, but I wanted to PLAY instead!! Mom took a little vid:

Then we went inside, and I stared out the window at my fabulous snow:

Oh snow, I love you so!

Then Ziggy was stupid:

You can tell that he talks a big game, but he's really just a little whiny baby!! He is starting to get more fun to play with, though...especially since he isn't pooping all over himself like a crazy puppy. That definitely helps.

I wish all of woo a wonderful Turkey Lurkey Day!!

One more thing...

I just wanted everypup to know that I am now famous. Mom submitted me (and NOT Ziggy) to the Chicago Tribune, and I am now on their website. Here is a screen capture:

If you go to www.chicagotribune.com, and go to the photos section at the lower right hand corner of the page, you'll see a "Pets" section - and I'm in there!

You will also notice that the backdrop on my computer is of me, and not my little brother. I'm sure you all know why that is. Ziggy apparently is pretty mad about it, because now he screams at Mom when I get attention first. Brat.

Honored!!

Oh my dogness, everypup - take a look at this!

Our good buddy Echo bestowed this honor upon us, and we could not be more proud! Here's what the Award says:

"The Community Blog Award celebrates people who reach out and make the blogger community a better one. It also underlines the importance of a blog's readership community, one of the most rewarding parts about blogging. It's the people that come back to comment, adding to the conversation, making you feel like someone is listening and interested."
THANK WOO so much! We truly appreciate it, buddy!
We'd like to pass it on to our friends Steve and Kat, who are emBARKing on a super huge, fun journey with their parents this week. We'd also like to pass it on to Turbo, as we all know that he is constantly fighting to eradicate the stupidity of humankind!
Happy almost Turkey Day!

Ziggy has issues with speaking

When I want to contribute something to a conversation, I say this:
Woooooo, a roo, ruuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh, wooo!
OBVIOUSLY!!
On the contrary, Ziggy says this, constantly:
AIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIEEEEEEEEEEEIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
He's like a banshee or something! I need ear plugs!!

Ziggy, looking for things to scream about!!

He also likes to copy me. Last night, we were watching tv with Mom and Dad in the Big Bed. I was politely chewing on my bone, and Ziggy was IMPOLITELY chewing on my ear. What is that all about?!?!

One thing's for sure - he's definitely a "sly dog"!

My Momma LOVES Me!

And here is why...

1) I am the handsomest Woo ever

2) I give her the courtesy of delightful wake up kisses, and if she doesn't move, then I kindly claw at her until she does

3) I give good hugs

4) I am nice enough to tell her when she is wrong

5) I try to take the squeaker our of Ziggy so that she doesn't have to be annoyed by his stupid noises.

And I know she loves me because....

1) She buys me new toys...like my new Kong On a Rope

2) When I ignore my new toys and destroy paper towel rolls instead, she doesn't get mad (kinda)

3) She lets me run all over my yard whenever I say so

4) She lets me give her kisses after she's eaten something good, like pizza

5) She tells me alllll the time!

WOO!

P.S. Ziggy is gross.

A HAPPY PUPDATE!

HAWOO pup friends!

I smell some GOOD NEWS here at the McCann household...

Checking my messages...there's that GREAT NEWS!

(On a side note, Mom says I look like I have a "big bootie" in that picture. For the record, I am a lean, mean Sibe machine, and I don't think a certain biped should be talking about big booties!)

Our little Ziggy is getting SO much better! He only had ONE accident in all of last evening and last night...and it wasn't until about 5:45 am! We are so proud of him. For a guy that was really too young to be with us quite yet, and who ALSO is battling with Giardia, he's coming along wonderfully. Mom is super happy for all of him (and us)! He's growing like a weed and has SO much great puppy energy now! This difference that proper care and TLC has given him is really quite clear. He's lots of fun! Mom thinks he's gained about 1.5 to 2 pounds since last week. Awesome!

Who, me? Well of course I potty in the yard, don't be silly!

ALSO...our fence gate was put back in yesterday, so I HAVE MY YARD BACK! WOOO HOOO! I did SO many zoomies, you don't even KNOW! Mom and Dad also put a dog run in for us pups for the spring and summer months when they're cooking food and doing yard work. It's HUGE! We are so excited! SO excited, in fact, that this morning, I refused to come inside when Mom and Dad wanted to leave for work. I was what Mom calls a "pistol". If by that she means faster than a speeding bullet, woo hoo hoo - YOU BET!

Anywoo, here's another picture of our big man Zig, too cool to look at the camera:

I'm so excited about everything that I ate my collar last night. Then I dry heaved for a couple of hours. I didn't want to do it by myself, so I stood on top of Mom on the bed and did it in her face. It's because I love her.

Licks!

Mom and Dad are going crazy

Things are not good on the homefront, everypup!

Smelly Ziggy is not getting any less smelly, and he's been on meds since Thursday night. His poops are still soup! AND...we found out he's even younger than we thought...he was born Sept 21st! So he still has NO control over his pooping situation. Mom and Dad went through 3 rolls of paper towels over the weekend cleaning up after him. Mom tried to hide in our bedroom to have a nervous breakdown, so I decided to watch over her:

OK, Mom, deep breaths, I'm here for you!

Yeah...keep breathing...right....I'm.....right....

....here.........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

OK, so maybe I could have done a little better, but Mom and I snuggled for a couple of hours while Dad looked after Poop Machine, and I think we both needed it. Plus, look at that comforter, how could you not fall asleep!!!! Come on!!!!! Earlier that morning, Mom and I went on special big walkes, where she got some neat coffee, and I had a little bit of whipped cream from the top! For some reason, people in the park gave Mom and I a weird stare when this happened...I don't get people.

Here's Ziggy being stupid and not nearly as cute as I am outside with *MY* tennis ball bone:

OK - enough of that!!!!!!!!!!

EVERYBODY CROSS PAWS THAT THE GIARDIA FIASCO ENDS SOON!!

Woooooo.

Stinky Ziggy is Diseased! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!

So, not only do my parents bring home my stinky, poopy little brother...but it turns out that he has Giardia, too! Now, I'm vaccinated, but there is still a risk that I could get it, and that ticks me off. Soupy poop smelly Ziggy comes storming in, all whiny and stinky, and brings parasites with him!!!

Sleepy Ziggy, resting in the front yard where he can't get is parasites on me

Please cross your paws for me. All of this injustice is starting to tick me off! Here's another picture of my cuteness to tide you over:

Sleepy little me, NOT infected with gross parasites

That is all - CHOW pups!
