On guard

Hello everypuppy...

Ziggy was eyeing my new toy last night, but I was so tired! I couldn't risk him having fun with it while I slept, so I decided to sleep ON it.

Ziggy tried to tell me that he was allll the way over by the wall and had no interest in my toy, but I knew better!

You can see that he was waiting for me to fall asleep...look at that mischevious snooter in the background!

Keep waiting, little brother. Keep waiting.

Finally, here is a picture of my cute feets. Fluffy pink Sibe feets rule! Mom calls them "Frito Feets" because they smell like Fritos. Bet you'll never think of Fritos the same way!

That is all, everypuppy (and kitty...and other furiends)!

Have a good one. The stupid snow MELTED here yesterday, then all of the water froze again over night. I had 2 feet of snow, and now the back yard is an ice rink!!!!

Woo,

Marley

And I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight...

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Happy Howlidays, everypuppy (and of course, our other furiends!)

Marley is a big fat jerk

Yep - you got it pupperoos, this is ZIGGY. I am hijacking my brother's blog to let you all know that he has been M-E-A-N to me me lately. So...I'm snuggling in his spot under Mom's protection. Check it out:
SEE? Oh, too far away? Here's a closer look:

Yeah, that's right, the butthead bit me in the face. RUDE. I am plotting my revenge. Do not worry.

It's Ziggy or the Dog!

Ziggy and Mom were watching "It's Me or the Dog" yesterday...and lo and behold, it was the Diesel the Husky episode! Irresponsible and uninformed husky owners tick us all off, so after a while, Ziggy couldn't even watch anymore. So...he just stared at Mom...:

Mom...this is horrible husky press!!

No, I am not looking. I will just sit here and dazzle you with my amazingly calm demeanor and extreme loyalty.

SUCKUP!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

That's right, everypuppy - I am 2 years old today. 2 BIG YEARS old! 2 years of total maturity, handsomeness, and generally being awesome.

My first picture
Me today.

Ok, seriously, it's my birthday, what do you expect? I'm celebrating by being utterly lazy. Sweet!

New job!

Hello everypuppy! Zigster and I thought it would be fun to tell you all about our new line of work. With the arrival of Dylan, we decided that it was time to buckle down and get serious. Thus, we are now Official Security Sibes of the Rasta Homestead. Take a look at some of our work:

Monitoring baby progress!

What are WOO looking at?

Ziggy at the North Post

Ziggy checking in on Dylan

Ziggy, after moving to the South post!

As you can see, we are just very busy puppies. This is a 24/7 job, you know. Mom and Dad are lucky to have such diligent pups like Ziggy and me on hand.

I am off to take a nap. Mom and Dad are grumbling something about me "tooting all over the basement". Hey - it's the price you pay for good security!

Introducing Dylan!

Hello everypuppy! Wonderful news....my baby brother is HERE! They won't let Sibelings in the hosptial, but Dad snuck us a couple of pics...check him out!

He looks a little squirmy and REALLY un-furry but he's still cute! And Mom looks like she does at 3 am when Ziggy asks her to go potty. I can't wait to meet him!

Sleepy Sunday

So...still no biped puppy. Boring! Thus, we are working hard on...sleeping...on our furniture. Here I am with the only pillow that I will allow on my couch:

...I think it compliments my woo fluff nicely.

Of course, when I got up for a stretchy stretch, Z-pup tried to take my space:

You can tell by the guilty look on his face!

I finally jumped on up....reclaiming my pillow...and us pups drifted off to sleep.

At least DA BEARS won today! Even if they gave up 41 points.

WOO!

The Piggy

My little brother Ziggy is really super cute (but not as cute as me, obviously). But, he is a really good Siberian and is horrible at cooperating with Mom for pictures. He can actually *hear* a picture coming, everypuppy! Mom was thrilled when she caught him snoozing during an episode of Law and Order the other day, and she snapped this pic on her phone:

She wishes that it wasn't so far away, but what can you do?

Here are some other recent attempts that Mom has made to try and catch the piggy on camera:

That is Mom's big preggo belly in the forefront. The Zigster wanted to give her kisses, but he did NOT want to cooperate for the camera.

Here, the piggy pretended to hear things off in the distance every time Mom tried to snap a pic.
Sometimes he lets her slip one in...but as you can see, he is never very amused.

I, of course, like to remind him that he was once a really stupid little puppy and cooperated with Mom for EVERYTHING:

Mom read on the Army of Four's blog this week that everypuppy is in line for baths this week...though the redheads have not yet suffered the injustice. I love baths (and anything having to do with water!)...but the Piggy has that nickname for a reason. He is a dirty puppy and HATES water...and HATES being clean. He says it is SO GROSS to be clean! He "Ah-ROO"s his disappointment at every chance he gets! He better hope that the biped pup comes soon, because otherwise, I see a bath in the very near future!

Woo Bat!

Most of you know about my work as a Woo Hat...but what many of you DON'T know is that I have been spreading my cuteness around to other species! I would like to introduce to you the final product of my latest project - the Woo BAT:
I know what woo must be thinking...how is it fair to spread such cuteness around willy nilly, like it's nothing? Like my extreme cuteness is not a precious and rare commodity?

Not to worry, everypuppy. I just felt bad for bats. They are pretty gross looking and clearly needed my assistance. Plus, my Mom thinks my whining is just as annoying as bat shrieks. Whatever, Mom. Anyways, it's not like I gave them my exotic, piercing, mesmerizing blue eyes!!

Happy Monday, everypuppy. If my biped puppy brother doesn't come in this next week, they are going to be inducing my Mom on the 20th. I don't know what that means, exactly, but I assume it has something to do with hanging a rawhide between my Mom's legs until the pup wants to come out and play. That used to work with Ziggy.

Have a good one!

Marls

Totally disappointing

Everypuppy....tonight is not a good night.
It started out with Mom and Dad forcing me to watch the VP debates. Mom has some opinions that she'll keep to herself for now...but let's just say, after a point, I just couldn't listen anymore! So...I turned around and asked politely:

Mom...will you turn that off already?!

But she did not listen. So I pouted and tried to sleep.

Fine, be that way, not like I REALLY wanted to watch Animal Planet anyways...

Then, Ziggy was a good Sibe and refused to let Mom take a picture of his super cute face...

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEN Mom flipped to game 2 of the Cubs/Dodgers...and the Cubbies have already given up 6 runs, and it's only the fifth inning...BLAH!

I can't even look.

So then, we went to sleep. Note the sleepy Ziggy infront of the baby bouncer. He is practicing his baby guarding skills.

I, dogonally, cannot bear to be awake anymore. I will now retire to the corner of my couch.

Woo,

Marls

Not my fault!

As always, my delinquency in posting is not my fault! Things have been very busy...Mom and Dad are at the "any day now" stage of my biped brother's arrival...and in the meantime, they completely redid the basement for Ziggy and I! Twice the space for zoomies...it's awesome. In face, it's so awesome, Ziggy and I reserve our zoomies for the basement no matter how much outside time we have. Isn't that so cool?!

I've been waiting...waiting...WAITING...for my turn on the computer...check it out:

OK Dad....any minute now...

........I'll be here....

The Piggy has been annoyed for me, too...

Can I help you? Oh...yes...thanks for the new furniture! It's just not..."huskied"....yet!

Happy Woos to one and all!

Love,

Marley

Farewell to a lovely lady

It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to the lovely, irreplacable Kelsey Ann. She passed over to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Her family already misses her so much, and so do we (as well as all the SMS and DWB folks!). You were a beautiful girl that brought great joy to your loved ones, Kelsey Ann, and you will be sorely missed.

Sad woos,

Cuteness

Mom keeps saying just how "cute " this picture of Ziggy is:

Ziggy is eating it up, being a big cheeseball and whatnot. Boring! What he doesn't understand is that their new nickname for him, "Piggy", is actually a HUGE insult, as I have learned the following about pigs:

1 - They hang out in poop (like baby Ziggy)

2 - They are not at all fluffy

3 - People eat them

HA! Ziggy is so clueless sometimes!

For those who have common sense, here are some pictures that actually qualify as "cute":

...you are welcome.

Here is a picture that Mom tried to take of her belly, but really you get a great shot of her armpit (ew) and double chin from scrunching her face up. This is a case where fluffiness would really benefit her:

When she looked at the picture, she took another one of her face to make sure she still had a neck:

Thankfully, she did.

Here's a picture of my Dad at a wedding, where he was a groomsman. One of the guests brought moonshine (yes, moonshine). Apparently this made Dad think he could fly or something:

I am glad that I was not there to be totally embarassed by him. Mom, on the other hand, was witness to it, and captured it on camera for all posterity.

Finally, here are Ziggy and I working together to break through and get some info from Loki the Snitch. **

Um, yeah....moving on...

That's about it. The parents have been super busy lately. Mom says that she just wants to sleep for a couple of days. That sounds really boring.

CHOW!

Marley

**Ed. note: No Lokis were hurt in the capturing on this image. She actually walked right on up in between them, and Marley and Ziggy felt the need to question her a bit...but it is mostly just sniffies, and then she turns on her back. They do not bite down on her. She also has all of her claws. Do not worry!

Protest

Mom and Dad went to Eagle River without us. Now they are back. We are happy, but we wanted to show our disapproval so that it would never happen again.

Effective? We shall see!

The Biped is coming

Woo -

I was wooing to my friend Tubey a while back, and we were discussing the stupidity of humans, which led to talk of the biped that Mom is growing in her stomach. I sincerely hope that this mini-biped will not be as stupid as most other humans appear to be, and I really am starting to feel pretty good about it. How could anything go wrong with Ziggy and myself in charge? Chances are, little Dylan will be the SMARTEST biped there ever was! It sure helps to have our future president on my side, too!

I started to discuss what the little biped was going to look like, based on family traits. Blue eyes, light hair, stunning facial features...all the good stuff. I asked him if his talented human would possibly be willing to create a portrait of what the little biped will look like based on my description, and she agreed!! I think Tubey's human did a pawesome job - this child will be a STUNNER:

I gotta say - I'm pretty excited about this!
